10 000 drawings

My father became interested in the mans comics and bought the new series (which consisted of 2 book since it was new) and he got them signed with a drawing. When I was looking for my dad (I wanted to buy something ) I stumbled across him talking to this comic author. I introduced myself and he told me about how my dad told him I wanted to be a manga artist. I was extremely shy at the time and couldn't really say anything so i just kept nodding. He told me he now worked with a partner (the man sitting next to him - who's name i now know is patrick) creating comics for a company i couldn't remember.  

ANYWAY - This guy who's name i'm pretty sure is Sytse, gave me tonnes and tonnes of advice. He explained how he got into the industry and although it's hard, to never give up. Ever since that trip I guess my love for making manga and drawing increased ten fold and I became the kid I was before I kinda lost hope, full of energy and ready to make manga. I've been doing a lot of research on how to become a mangaka and I know a lot of people will think i'm an idiot for chasing my dreams BUT I DONT CARE (pewdiepie reference) Anyway so the point is, before i left he gave me a piece of advice which is basically my motto now. 

"Never give up and remember the first 10 000 pages". He basically told me; the first 10 000 pages of your manga might suck but page 10 001 will be amazing. So he told me to keep drawing and to keep practicing no matter what. SO (i probably should've done this a long time ago) I decided that I will upload 10 000 drawings to my deviant art over the next two years because well, it's a lot of drawings. I calculated it and it's something like 12 drawings a day which is a lot of work but I know it will pay off when I hit the end. ^^ 

SO I KNOW NO ONE IS READING THIS! But be prepared for 10-freaking-000 drawings ^^
